The Rundown on the Warrior Run 2018

October 6, 2018

It was an unseasonably hot Saturday night yet that didn’t stop thousands of mental health warriors from showing up and taking steps to stop the stigma and help fund our mission to provide local schools with mental health and suicide prevention programming. This year, more than 3,400 warriors participated in the either the 5K or 1-Mile Walk. We had 66 teams representing 23 states across the nation.

We are so thankful that the awareness and participation continues to grow each year and it’s all because of dedicated, passionate individuals that believe that together, we can create change and lives can be saved. Because of everyone’s generosity and participation, 1N5 will be able to make a donation of over $250,000 to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital “Surviving the Teens” program, as well as to local schools to fund much needed programming.

However, none of this would be possible without our 25o selfless volunteers making the Warrior Run race possible. From packet pick-up, race set-up, to take down, our volunteers come together to make sure everything runs smoothly for all of our race participants.
