Contest Guidelines

Letting people know that you are thinking about them is one way of showing kindness.  We are creating a set of cards to make it easy for people to reach out to others and we are looking for artists to help us with that.   You are invited to send us original artwork that best represents what kindness looks or feels like to you.

Prompts:

• • How do you show kindness?
  • How do people show kindness to you?
  • What does kindness feel like?
  • What is an act of kindness?
  • What is a symbol of kindness?
  • What people/places/things make you think of kindness?

All ages!

Submission requirements

• • Submission deadline: 4/13/2021
  • All submitted designs must be the artist’s original work and can be signed or unsigned.
  • Any type of artwork is acceptable but it must be submitted as a pdf, png or jpg file.
  • The original artwork must be at least 4×6” and no larger than 8.5×11”
  • Winners should be prepared to provide the original piece of art to 1N5 in the event it is needed to produce the cards and will be required to sign a media release.
  • All artwork should be submitted using the form below.

Judging and Winners

• • A panel of judges will review all submissions and choose six designs that best capture the theme of kindness.
  • Winners will receive a $25 Target gift card and a box 1N5 Kindness Cards. The winning designs will be featured on 1N5’s website, social media and on our exclusive Kindness Cards.
  • Submission deadline: 4/13/2021
  • Winners will be notified by 4/15/21
  • The notecard set will debut in 1N5’s Spring4Life Silent Auction (4/18/2021 – 4/23/2021) and will be available for purchase on 1N5’s website.
