Sources of Strength is a universal suicide prevention program designed to build socioeconomic protective influences around youth and reduce the likelihood that vulnerable youth and young adults will become suicidal.
This program supports student wellbeing, strengthens youth-adult connections, enhances positive student coping behaviors, reduces the risk of suicide and violence, reduces bullying behavior, and increases school belonging and resilience.
Thanks to funding through the CARES Act on behalf of the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services, the Ohio Suicide Prevention Foundation, and PreventionFIRST!, we are offering FREE implementations of the Sources of Strength program in local schools.
Katie Kaiser is the 1N5 Sources of Strength certified trainer. If you are interested in learning more about bringing Sources of Strength to your school, please contact Katie at katie_kaiser@1n5.org.
