create lasting change and end the stigma surrounding mental health.
Position Summary:
The Chief Program Officer (CPO) will oversee and manage the program team (school,
community, and corporate) at 1N5, ensuring seamless execution and growth of programs aimed
at promoting mental health education and resources. Reporting directly to the ED, the CPO will
play a critical role in developing strategic initiatives, fostering collaboration, and driving
operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Program Management:
- Oversee the design, implementation, and evaluation of mental health prevention programs.
- Collaborate with the program team to ensure alignment with organizational goals and impact metrics.
- Monitor program budgets, timelines, and deliverables to ensure success.
Leadership and Team Development:
- Lead, mentor, and inspire the program team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
- Provide professional development opportunities and performance feedback.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including schools, community and community partners, and donors.
Strategic Planning:
- Work with the ED, board and 1N5 staff to develop and execute strategic plans that align with 1N5’s mission and vision.
- Identify opportunities for program expansion and improvement based on community needs and emerging trends.
Operational Excellence:
- Develop and implement efficient processes to support the delivery and scalability of programs.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure impact and drive decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Represent 1N5 at community events, conferences, and meetings to promote mental health advocacy.
- Cultivate partnerships with schools, community and corporate partners, donors, and advocacy groups to strengthen program reach.
- Support fundraising efforts by contributing to grant applications and donor engagement strategies.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Education, Business Administration, Public Health, Nonprofit Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 7+ years of experience in program management, operations, or nonprofit leadership, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
- Strong understanding of mental health advocacy, education systems, or community programs.
- Proven track record of successfully leading teams and managing complex projects.
- Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive salary commensurate with experience.

Salary Range: $95-$105K
