Hi, I’m Lisa. Spirited marketer by day, mental health blogger by night. I’ve struggled with Generalized Anxiety Disorder and Panic Disorder for my entire life, suffering the peak of it about 10 years ago.
I was at a point where I couldn’t get out of bed without the beginning of a full-blown panic attack or the crippling fear of having one. I knew something needed to change, so I started therapy at the age of 19. In therapy, I expressed myself. Cried. Asked questions. Learned. Grew. That was the starting point of my healing, and since then, I’ve made it my purpose to share what I’ve learned in overcoming anxiety disorders — enter adventures & anxiety.
My blog and social platforms exist as a safe space for myself, and as a resource for others. I am always sharing my learnings and my experiences in hopes of changing the life of just one other.
