Xavier University & 1N5 NCAA Uniform Patch Partnership
Xavier University Athletics and 1N5 are launching a first-of-its-kind partnership, making 1N5 the official uniform patch partner for Xavier Athletics. As the first major NCAA Division I athletics program and first BIG EAST Conference school to feature a nonprofit organization on its uniforms, Xavier is using its national platform to promote mental wellness and suicide prevention. Together, Xavier and 1N5 will invest in education, outreach, and resources that support student-athletes while expanding mental health awareness throughout the university and the broader community.
The need for these conversations has never been greater. Half of all mental health conditions begin before age 14, and three-quarters begin before age 24—making college a critical time to build awareness, reduce stigma, and connect young people with support. This partnership reflects a shared commitment to educating the whole person and creating a culture where asking for help is seen as a sign of strength. Together, 1N5 and Xavier are proving that when we use our platforms with purpose, we can reach more people with messages of hope, connection, and support.
This partnership serves as a megaphone for the message we’ve always carried. For over a decade, 1N5 has worked to change the conversation about mental health across Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. This collaboration puts that message in front of a national audience: Xavier fans, families, alumni, and young people well beyond our region, carried by an institution with the reach to make sure it’s heard.
That bigger platform also means bigger responsibility. More visibility means more people looking to 1N5 for real support: training, resources, and programs that go far deeper than a jersey patch.
