Local Professor Shares Her Mental Health Story

Meet Ashley Sieb: Digital Marketer, Writer, Public Speaker, Triathlete and Mom.  
Ashley Sieb has spent the past decade of her career working in digital marketing. She is a digital marketer, writer, public speaker, and educator.
Ashley has spent most of her career working in the technology space, where she worked on global marketing projects and helped deploy strategic marketing technology projects.
She is passionate about storytelling and developing engaging marketing campaigns based on intention, empathy, and connection.
Today, Ashley is running her digital marketing agency, Ashley Sieb Marketing, and teaching in the College of Creative Arts – Department of Interactive Media Studies at Miami University.
In June 2017, Ashley re-launched Richmond Social Media to educate small business owners and entrepreneurs on how to effectively use social marketing to tell their story and reach the right audience. The program started with (4) attendees showing up to the first class and now sells out each month with more than 70 people attending the workshop each month!
Ashley graduated from Ball State University in May 2010 with a degree in Public Relations. In 2019, Ashley received the ATHENA Young Professional Leadership Award of Wayne County. In 2018 and 2019, Ashley was named as one of the “Top 10 Outstanding Young Professionals in Wayne County.” In addition, Ashley was nominated for the Ball State Graduate Of the Last Decade (G.O.L.D.) Award in 2018.
Outside of work, Ashley is a mother to Cooper and wife to her college sweetheart. She loves racing triathlons and advocating for women with PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome). She is currently working on her first book and a children’s book series about vulnerability, resiliency, and overcoming fears.
