Living with mental health conditions can be an uphill battle, and it took me a while to fully comprehend the importance of self-care. Often, we prioritize taking care of our physical health but forget that our mental health is just as vital. I want to share with you the nine tips that have helped me on my mental health journey.

The first step in my self-care journey was acceptance. I acknowledged that my mental health conditions are a part of who I am, and that’s okay. Self-compassion and understanding that it’s okay to not be perfect were significant turning points for me.
